Role
DTEX is seeking a full-time Field Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help drive and refine the marketing strategy through events and partner campaign execution. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing multi-touch, field-based programs to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and contribute towards company revenue goals. Reporting to the Senior Director of Field and Channel Marketing, you’ll also work closely with sales, business development and partners to deliver targeted, high-impact campaigns that will generate and accelerate demand into the sales cycle. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure alignment on content and messaging. 

We’re looking for a data-driven marketer with an insatiable appetite for learning, who frequently explores ways to make the impossible possible. Someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and is known for bringing calm to chaos while working in exciting and sometimes unpredictable field environments.

This role is critical to building awareness, driving engagement, and generating pipeline across DTEX’s strategic markets and partnerships. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive marketer with a passion for execution, relationship-building, and results.

This is a remote position but must have the ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Role & Responsibilities:
Research, plan, collaborate, and help maintain DTEX’s calendar of live and online events. This includes 3rd party industry conferences, tradeshows, partner events, regional networking events, workshops, virtual roundtables and sponsored podcasts and webinars.
Execution and logistics of planned activities, including contract and sponsorship allocation negotiations, vendor management, oversee fulfillment/inventory levels, staffing and messaging enablement, managing the development of new marketing collateral and branding, coordinating outreach strategies to maximize onsite exposure.

Driving results by working with sales, business development and partner functions on their outreach strategy, pre and post activity. Develop programs with core marketing to promote effective and consistent communication and lead follow-up.

Thoughtful measurement by tracking campaign performance, measuring key data points specific to our ABM strategies, analyzing tailored metrics related to core KPIs of each programwhile contributing to overarching marketing campaigns through data-driven insights and alignment.

Skills & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in marketing business-to-business software solutions; 3+ years relevant Field and Event Marketing experience supporting sales organizations within the IT industry. Experience in cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Direct experience managing budgets, tracking ROI and analyzing marketing events, programs and metrics.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Marketing Automation tools, partner portals and CRMs, salesforce and pardot specifically is a bonus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Exceptional project management skills including the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
