Brief Description A successful Technical Success Manager - Federal candidate will have a strong technical foundation enhanced by a clear devotion to serving and satisfying customers in a consultative approach. This position is a core member of the world-wide Customer Success Org, which is tasked with customer onboarding, environment stability, integrations, and technical advisory. The Federal TSM provides end-to-end technical relationship management for our customers with focus in the Federal space. Team members also work closely with each other and cross-functionally with internal DTEX teams.
Responsibilities:
Leads the technical life time engagement for high-value and complex customer accounts
Serves as the primary technical advisor during onboarding, implementation, and steady-state operations to provide strategic technical guidance and best practices
Uses a systematic approach to design and validate technical solutions that align with the customers’ objectives
Transforms complex requirements into scalable solutions for our customers
Drives proactive maintenance, data tuning and upgrade planning for assigned accounts
Coordinates with engineering to drive resolution of complex technical challenges
Contributes to Technical Success team building and scaling Federal initiatives
Travel predicted ~25% up to 50% as needed on site for customer onboarding, deployments, and technical challenges.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in a customer-facing security, operations, project or account management role.
5+ years of experience supporting FED/SLED customers.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, both internally and externally.
Demonstrated competency communicating with executive, manager and individual contributor levels.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to customers in a business-oriented way combined with the ability to communicate customer technical requirements internally to engineering oriented resources.
Post-sales experience is a must.
Security domain knowledge is essential.
Project management skills to drive simultaneous efforts across multiple groups to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Ability to handle a broad portfolio of competing customer needs.
Ability to convey customer concerns to different internal stakeholders (Support, Development.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
Strategic experience with large distributed clustered systems from deployment, maintenance, and scaling.
Strong understanding of Insider Risk solutions (UBA, UEBA, DLP).
Strategic understanding of various components of a typical Security Stack including SIEM products (e.g. Forcepoint, HP ArcSight, IBM QRadar, Splunk).
Strategic understanding of cloud and on-premise infrastructure architectures.
Working understanding of Linux and demonstrable level of comfort within the CLI.
Working understanding of Windows desktop and server environments.
Practical understanding of databases, e.g. Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL.
Strategic understanding of data integration techniques.
