By building a Deals Desk function from the ground up, you will ensure consistency, accelerate deal velocity, and provide leadership with visibility into commercial performance.
Reporting directly to the CRO and serving as a key member of the revenue leadership team, you will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to enable faster, smarter, and more profitable growth.

Minimal travel will be required, though attendance at quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual planning sessions will be expected.

What You’ll Do

  • Build & Lead the Program – Establish DTEX’s first Deals Desk program, defining structure, process, and governance to support a hyper-growth SaaS business.
  • Deal Structuring & Pricing Guidance – Provide frameworks and guidance for pricing, discounting, and packaging to protect margin while enabling competitive flexibility.
  • Approval Workflow Management – Define and enforce approval thresholds for non-standard deal terms, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Contract Support – Partner with Legal to align contracts with company policies, compliance, and risk management requirements.
  • Revenue Recognition Alignment – Work with Finance to ensure contracts comply with ASC 606 and revenue recognition best practices.
  • Quote-to-Cash Efficiency – Improve workflows between CRM, CPQ, billing, and ERP systems to reduce friction and errors in the sales cycle.
  • Governance & Risk Mitigation – Implement policies that reduce business risk while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Analytics & Insights – Deliver reporting and analysis on deal velocity, discount trends, ASP (average selling price), and margin impact to guide leadership decisions.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Deals Desk leadership, commercial finance, or management consulting with direct exposure to enterprise SaaS deal structures.
  • Proven success founding, building, or scaling Deals Desk programs in early-stage or hyper-growth technology companies.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models (subscription, usage-based, tiered), discounting frameworks, and multi-year deal structures.
  • Experience managing cross-functional processes spanning Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and their application in SaaS agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance deal velocity with governance, enabling Sales to move quickly without compromising compliance or profitability.
  • Executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence CRO, CFO, and Legal leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.

Why Join Us?

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
